What’s Holding You Back From Living the Life You’ve Dreamed Of?
The greatest hindrance to achieving success in any area of our life lies hidden in our mind.
Therefore, knowing “How to create” or manifest a new experience into your life, easily and effortlessly, is one of the greatest secrets of all time. And, a part of the equation is “learning how to discover what’s been holding you back from manifesting the life you’re dreamed of” if what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working as well as it could be.
How do we move beyond the self-imposed limitations we’ve lived with and the emotional traumas or heartaches we’ve endured? When every moment of every day we find ourselves encountering events that are totally unexpected and we’re making very little progress?
How is it possible to manifest the life we’ve dreamed of when our lives seem to be filled with struggling and obstacles along the way? Are we able to still acknowledge and honor the inner strengths our struggles have given us?
What do we do when we find ourselves standing face-to-face with the gap? The gap between where we thought we’d be and where we actually are. Between our expectations of what we planned would happen and what has actually happened. Between the life we had envisioned and the life we are living.
One of the frustrating challenges people face is being unable to get the desired results they seek. The most effective way I have found to move beyond what’s holding you back in an area of your life, or has been causing health issues, is by unraveling the problem at the source where it’s stored within you.
It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s holding us back in any given area of our life. …unless we know how to navigate the hidden storage-house and resources of our subconscious mind.
Many people are afraid of what they might find if they spend any time analyzing what’s buried in their subconscious. But in order to discover what’s holding you back in an area of your life, you’re going to have to discover what’s buried in your subconscious. Studies in neuroscience indicate that as much as 95–99 percent of our consciousness is actually below our level of awareness. The energetic patterns behind our emotions create our experience of reality, though we have trouble recognizing them.
Over the years I’ve learned there are 7 main areas of influence which hold us back from creating and living the joy-filled, healthy life that we’re able to have. Those are…
1 Beliefs: limiting, detrimental, or those that don’t support your life experience
2 Emotions: unresolved emotional wounds that distort and close off the natural life-force energy of the body
3 Essential Human Needs: ones that are unrecognized or not being met
4 Distant Past: ancestral lineage or past-life influences
5 Shadow Personality: a disowned part of yourself that is wreaking havoc
6 Lifestyle: actions or decisions at the root of the problem
7 And, additional areas of life-force energy flows that impact your life here and now
When you learn how to transform blockages and suffering held deep within into sources of healing, strength, and compassion, you create life-enhancing health and soul nurturing well-being.
Beliefs: Our subconsciously held beliefs have a far more powerful effect in our lives than most of us realize. Only about 5% of our words and actions originate from the conscious mind. 95% of the time, we are habitually operating from our subconscious beliefs. Those belief programs influence how we think, how we speak, how we act and ultimately, what destiny we are able to manifest for ourselves. The good news is that those subconscious programs can be changed from limiting beliefs to supportive, life-enhancing ones.
Emotions: Just like our limiting beliefs, our emotions also create our experience of reality below our conscious level of awareness – though, it’s the unresolved emotional wounds that create the challenges, uneasiness, pain, and crisis situations in our lives. Our emotions can also affect our health; 90% of physical issues have an emotional root.
Emotions are essential in reaching the greatest possible understanding of who we are and what we want, and they make themselves known primarily through internal sensations. The more attuned we grow to these internal sensations, by resolving the disruptive emotional patterns, the wiser and more consciously aware we become.
Essential Human Needs: Our essential human needs have a life force of their own. No matter how old we are, as human beings, we all have needs and desires. When our needs are not being fulfilled, we can easily feel discouraged, frustrated, resentful, disconnected, or invalidated. When we lose touch with this vital part of ourselves, we have a greater tendency to be disappointed with the actions and behaviors of others.
There’s a huge benefit when we take the time to discover, acknowledge, and honor our needs. Our life experience will become more carefree and enlivened. We feel good. We’re more content and satisfied. And, when we honor our needs as well as those of others, we enrich humanity.
Distant Past: There are times when the distant past, which consists of past-life experiences and ancestral lineage influences, affects current-life circumstances. This occurs when there is a carry-over interference pattern that needs to be resolved. Past life memories are stored in our subconscious mind; ancestral influences are stored in our cells. The latter are passed on through our DNA to the next generation. We have the ability to heal the influences of our past lives and ancestral lineage wounds.
Shadows: Throughout history it has been said that inside each of us is a community of personalities, each with their own voices and points of view. As we grow and develop our personality, we begin to experience life through our perceptions and conditionings. At some point along our journey there comes a time where we uncover hidden parts of ourselves we’ve disowned that we don’t want to face—the shadow portions of ourselves.
We tend to fear these disowned parts because we don’t like seeing the undesirable, unattractive, and distasteful aspects of our personality. We don’t want to identify with them. We want to believe we are better than that. The only thing is, we can’t really get rid of any part of ourselves because it’s part of who we are. Yet, the shadow is one of the most important but least under-stood aspects of humanity because of its obscure nature.
When we embrace our disowned shadow parts, bringing them to conscious awareness, it transforms them. They stop being monsters and give us great gifts of strength, conscious awareness, joy, and personal freedom instead.
Lifestyle: Deepak Chopra emphasizes that we all have a blueprint for health, no blueprint for disease. However, certain lifestyle choices we make create interference patterns which disrupt the healthy blueprint within us. Those choices include—among others—unhealthy food choices, toxins, stress, lack of rest, relaxation and meditation, lack of exercise, lack of fresh air and sunshine, and even a lack of joy, play, and humor. When we change our eating habits, rest more, and make time for healthy movement, we clear out the debris which is the result of unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Additional Life-Force Energy Flows: Last but not least, our life-force energy flows can become blocked when there is energetic debris or dense, heavy energy affecting us. The more we are aware of the energy flow in our bodies and in our surroundings, the easier we can shift and uplift the energy through a clearing ritual or prayer.
These seven areas constitute the secret of manifesting our dreams, goals and desires using the Law of Attraction.
In my book, The Messenger Within, I touch upon these seven areas of self-empowerment and what you can do for unlocking the secrets to greater freedom and a better life.
The decision to discover what’s been holding you back is an important step in gaining greater self-empowerment and living with greater personal freedom.
When we heal ourselves, we collectively heal humanity. With more and more individuals opening up to new levels of freedom, empowerment, and compassion, we shift the consciousness of the planet and participate in co-creating heaven on earth.
I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
Until next time,
